Did you know that the University of Stirling split each academic year into two 15-week semesters, rather than the traditional three terms? Each semester has:
- A week-long mid-semester break
- A two week exam period at the end
- An extended winter break of seven weeks after the first semester and a 15 week break over the summer after the second semester
Degrees are also made up of credits earned from modules, which means that students can effectively change their subject as their interests change.
